Production was put on hold until Michael joined the project, so the opening scenes had to be reshot.

Most of the chase scenes were filmed on the bridge across the Mississippi connecting the east and west banks of New Orleans. It is about 100m high, so the stunt coordinator personally monitored the safety of the stuntmen.
