The Turkish Yali Çapkini is one of the most eagerly awaited premieres of 2022, a series with a great cast and the highest audience ratings.
Ferit (Mert Ramazan Demir) is a handsome man spoiled by life, the heir to a wealthy family. His grandfather Khalis Agha, a pillar of the Korhan clan, is determined to stop his grandson’s promiscuous freedom, and decides to marry him off to a decent girl.
The wise old man’s choice falls on Suna (Beril Pozam), one of the two daughters of her stern father. The girl happily accepts the proposal, to the indignation of her sister Seyran (Aphra Saracoglu), who does not understand how she can give herself to the first stranger she meets. However, it is Seyran who has to take her place at the altar next to the stranger Ferit.
The screenplay is based on the novel by Gülseren Budaycıoğlu, a Turkish female psychiatrist and writer.
Dünyayla Benim Aramda
- Rating IMDB – 5.6
- Genre: Melodrama
- Production Türkiye / 2022
- Directed by Hulya Gezer
- Cast: Demet Ozdemir, Bugra Gyulsoy, Hafsanur Sancaktutan, Zerrin Tekindor, Hasan Ak, Ibrahim Selim, Cem Zeytyunlu, Aysu Basar, Ismail Genc, Ali Yogurtcuoglu
Another intriguing story, released in 2022 on the digital platform Disney+. It is a frank, erotic melodrama, which is unexpected for traditionally rather chaste Turkish projects. The chic music and actors sparking passion between them are impossible to tear yourself away from!
The plot centers on Ilkin (Demet Ozdemir), the fashionable, successful owner of a major magazine. One day she arranges a sneaky test for her lover – flirting with him online through an app under a different name. And then she also helps her friend test her lover’s feelings. But why is Ilkin doing this? Believe me, the plot intrigue here is much deeper than it seems at first glance.
Demet Ozdemir has become one of the most active stars in raising funds for the victims of the 2023 earthquake in Turkey.

This is a fantastic Turkish time travel series from Netflix. Fantastic in every way! The project is full of beautiful visual effects, pleases with the appearance of favorite actors, great costumes, luxurious retro interiors, interesting plot and, of course, the most heartfelt romance.
The young journalist Esra, played by the incomparable Hazal Kaya, gets an assignment to create a reportage about the famous Pera Palace Hotel. Falling asleep in the room where Agatha Christie herself wrote her books, the girl wakes up in 1919, on the eve of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk’s coup. Another Turkish project from Netflix, which has been in the top 10 series in many countries since the first day of its premiere. However, the story told here is almost devoid of the usual languid romance, because it is in fact a hard sci-fi thriller.
